The 17th Adhesives and Sealants Exhibition 2014 will be held in Shanghai.

The 17th China International Adhesives and Sealants Exhibition—the world’s largest and most specialized event—organized jointly by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Adhesive Industry Association, will be held in Shanghai in 2014 from September 25 to 27 at the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Center. It is reported that industry giants such as Henkel, Bayer, BASF, Degussa, Dow, ExxonMobil, Wanhua, Eastman, BUFA, and Arizona will all be in attendance, showcasing their latest products and technologies. As of now, 65% of the exhibition booths have already been reserved.

Currently, the technological level of China’s structural adhesive industry can be divided into three tiers. The first tier comprises international adhesive manufacturers such as Momentive Specialty Chemicals (formerly Huntsman Corporation), Henkel of Germany, and Dow Chemical—companies with a century-long history of production and deeply rooted scientific and technological R&D capabilities. The second tier includes leading domestic structural adhesive companies like our own company, Huitian Adhesives (17.040, 0.09, 0.53%), and Beijing Tianshan. These companies entered the structural adhesive industry relatively early in China and have over a decade of production experience. They possess strong technical R&D capabilities and independent innovation capacity, and in certain application fields, they are completely self-sufficient.
