1. Environmentally Friendly Phenolic Resin Adhesive: Liu Yaodong and colleagues conducted research on the synthesis of phenolic resin adhesives, adopting a process in which formaldehyde and phenol are added in batches at different reaction stages. This approach not only ensures that the adhesive meets the required bonding performance standards but also effectively reduces both the free formaldehyde content in the product and the formaldehyde emission after manufacturing. The formaldehyde emission from plywood bonded with this adhesive does not exceed 0.05 mg/L, significantly lower than the national standard. This adhesive is also suitable for bonding bamboo boards and represents an ideal low-toxicity, environmentally friendly phenolic resin adhesive.
