China Rubber Industry Intellectual Property Operation Platform Signs Agreement

Key Highlight: October 14 On the day, during the 2nd Rubber Expo, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Rubber Valley Group Co., Ltd. to jointly build a Sino-foreign partnership.
On October 14, during the second Rubber Expo, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Rubber Valley Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build a Chinese rubber industry intellectual property operation platform, aiming to create the largest integrated online-and-offline industry-specific intellectual property operation platform in China.
In light of the fundamental characteristics and existing challenges facing China’s patent operation platforms, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Rubber Valley Group Co., Ltd., drawing on their expertise in the rubber industry, are leveraging resources from government agencies, industry associations, as well as technology, talent, and finance sectors to establish an industry-specific intellectual property operation platform. Through pioneering service concepts and models, this platform will support the development of intellectual property operations within the rubber industry, enhance the industry’s capacity for technological innovation and application transformation, and build a nationally recognized brand for intellectual property operation services.
The operational platform has established a collaborative team by leveraging the Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Centers under both parties and Qingdao Rubber Valley Intellectual Property Co., Ltd., simulating actual enterprise operations to jointly promote intellectual property management in the rubber industry. As the highest-level service organization for China’s rubber industry, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation provides guidance and coordination for intellectual property management within the rubber sector. Rubber Valley and the National Tire and Rubber Process Engineering Technology Research Center serve as industrial platforms and technical support providers, enabling a seamless integration of intellectual property management with industrial development.
In 2015, the China Rubber Industry Intellectual Property Operation Platform will complete the offline functional configuration and online platform development of the Rubber Industry Intellectual Property Trading Center, realizing the vision of integrated online and offline operations. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the platform aims to become the largest and most powerful industry-specific intellectual property operation platform in China, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of China’s rubber industry through intellectual property operations.
