The 17th China International Adhesives and Sealants Exhibition—the world’s largest and most specialized event—organized jointly by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Adhesive Industry Association, will be held in Shanghai in 2014 from September 25 to 27 at the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Center. It is reported that industry giants such as Henkel, Bayer, BASF, Degussa, Dow, ExxonMobil, Wanhua, Eastman, BUFA, and Arizona will all be in attendance, showcasing their latest products and technologies. As of now, 65% of the exhibition booths have already been reserved.
Since its inception in 1997, the exhibition has now entered its 16th year. Held annually, in recent years it has been rotating between Shanghai and Guangzhou. At the 2013 Guangzhou exhibition, both the exhibition area and the number of visitors reached new milestones: the total exhibition area nearly reached 20,000 square meters, attracting over 500 companies from more than 20 countries worldwide. The event showcased the latest products and cutting-edge technologies in adhesives raw materials, additives, finished products, and related production and processing equipment to over 20,000 industry professionals and specialized visitors. As a premier international forum for the adhesives industry, ChinaAdhesive provides unparalleled opportunities for overseas companies to tap into the Chinese market and establish strategic partnerships.
