The development goals for China’s adhesives and sealants industry in 2010 have been set. By 2010, China’s adhesive production is expected to reach 7.3 million tons, with an average annual growth rate of 11.5%; sales are projected to reach 57 billion RMB, maintaining an average annual growth rate of 11.8%. In 2010, China will rank first in the world in terms of adhesive and sealant production and third in the world in terms of sales.
