Adhesive manufacturer Encapsulating adhesive It is a benzene- and formaldehyde-free, deep-black colloid that cures at room temperature and boasts high peel strength at low cost. Applications: Suitable for PVC or paper veneers applied to particleboard, MDF boards, or gypsum boards.

Application method for encapsulating adhesive

1. Typically, PVC wood-grain films are coated on one side using either roller coating or scraper coating.
2. The adhesive application must be uniform and of consistent thickness, ensuring that there is neither insufficient adhesive nor excessive buildup. The adhesive thickness should be adjusted appropriately based on the film’s thickness and the weather conditions.
3. Regarding the lamination time after applying adhesive, it is recommended that in dry, high-temperature summers or autumns, the duration can be slightly shorter; whereas in humid, low-temperature springs and winters, the duration can be appropriately longer. When you touch the adhesive-coated surface with your finger and feel that it’s nearly dry yet still slightly sticky, it’s best to align the film precisely and apply gentle, steady pressure for lamination in one go. The specific duration required will depend on the customer’s own adjustments based on factors such as the thickness of the adhesive applied, the speed at which the material is fed through the process, and the temperature of both the materials and the surrounding environment.

Adhesive manufacturer Encapsulating adhesive Precautions

1. The shelf life of this product under normal temperature and in a sealed condition is one year.
2. Any unused adhesive must be tightly capped and sealed to prevent solvent evaporation and exposure to air, which could cause the adhesive to thicken and age, thereby affecting product quality. Adhesives that have already been opened should generally be used up within 10 days.
3. When encountering materials that are particularly difficult to bond, you can treat the surface of the substrate (using our company’s treatment agent—this will not affect the quality), and then proceed with bonding to achieve the desired results.
4. Keep away from sources of ignition and maintain a clean, well-ventilated production area.
5. Do not peel off the adhesive immediately after application, as the adhesive layer has not yet fully cured and will not exhibit its full strength at this stage. It typically takes 24 hours or longer for the adhesive layer to fully cure; peeling off too soon could damage the substrate. The exact curing time may vary depending on weather conditions and material types.
